I'm Real Because...

I don't let 'no' stop me. I wanted to start collecting new pencils and school supplies for financially disadvantaged schools around the nation, and no one would help me. It was a setback; not the end of the idea. I got a small job, raised my own money to pay for printing, and sent flyers all around my neighborhood. In less than a week, I raised over 600 pencils for a small school in Texas. A pencil isn't going to change someone's life, but my 'Pencil Project' changed me and helped me become closer to my community. If I had allowed 'no' to stop me, I would never have been able to experience this blessed feeling of selflessness.
